Step – 1:
To begin, you must fill out an online application. The GST portal can be found at www.gst.gov.in. A username and password are required.
Step – 2:
Using the GST portal, click on the ‘New User Login’ link. Upon clicking on the accept button on the displayed declaration form, you must click ‘Continue’ to complete the registration process.
Step – 3:
Click on ‘New Registration’. Once the declaration page has been accepted, a Login window will appear. Register yourself for GST in Manipur by logging in

Fill the requisite details asked on the portal:-
Select ‘Taxpayer’ under the drop-down menu.
Select the respective state and district.
Enter the name of the business.
Enter the PAN of the business.
Fill the email ID and mobile number in the respective boxes. The email ID and mobile number entered on the portal must be active as OTPs will be sent to them.
Enter the Captcha shown on the screen and click on ‘Proceed’.

Enter the OTP sent to your email ID and mobile number as the next step.

Click on the ‘Proceed’ button once the details have been entered.
Step – 7:
Your Temporary Reference Number (TRN) will be displayed on the screen. You need to make a note of the TRN. GST registration applications require a TRN to access the PART-B form and login.
Step – 8:
Once again, go to the GST portal and click on ‘Register’ under ‘Taxpayers’.
Step – 9:
Choose the ‘Temporary Reference Number (TRN)’.
Step – 10:
Enter the TRN selected and the captcha details.
Step – 11
Once the Captcha details are entered, click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
Step – 12:
Once again, you will receive an OTP on your registered email address and mobile number. By entering the OTP, click the ‘Proceed’ button.
Step – 13:
Your application status will be displayed on the next page. Right on the page, click on the Edit icon.
Step – 14:
All relevant details will be required to be filed in ten sections on the next page. It is also necessary to submit the necessary documents. Please upload the following documents:

Step – 15:
Go to the ‘Verification’ page and check the declaration. Lastly, you must submit your application using one of the following methods:
Electronic Verification Code (EVC).
By e-Sign method.
The application for GST Registration must be submitted using a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).
Step – 16:
A successful completion message will appear on the screen once the process is complete. A GST Applicant’s Application Reference Number (ARN) will be sent to his or her registered mobile number and email address.
Step – 17:
Check the status of the ARN on the GST portal.
Process of getting the GST Registration Certificate Online
Once the ARN is generated, you need to visit the GST common portal.
Consequently, you must log into your GST account using the username and password you created. Moreover, you need to enter the captcha correctly and then select the login button.
Choosing “User services” from the drop-down option, and then selecting “View/Download Certificates” from the options displayed in the image, will take you to the “View/Download Certificates” screen.
When you select the download option, the registration certificate will automatically begin downloading.
