The agreement between a man and a woman to live as husband and wife is called marriage.Both are required to share their physical and emotional feelings with one another in this institution.Marital Right applies to prisoners as well as to the general public.As a result, the concept of conjugal rights for prisoners places an emphasis on the prisoner’s marriage to his or her spouse.This idea is based primarily on the idea that a prisoner’s family life should not be hindered by any circumstance.Because it has been observed that spending quality time with family and your life partner and sharing your feelings helps the inmate psychologically. It also gives him a sense of security, affection, and care, which can help him behave more consistently.
Conjugal Rights are used in the same way as visiting inmates.In most cases, a conjugal visit is a scheduled time when the inmate can spend several hours or days alone with the visitor, typically his or her legal spouse. Sweden is regarded as the most generous nation, granting spouses unsupervised visitation rights on one Sunday each month.
The prison system is not the same under Islamic law. Punishment is not based on confinement. However, in exceptional circumstances, prisoners who are sentenced to prison enjoy all rights, including conjugal rights, with the exception of the right to freedom of movement.
